What if I must cancel my event or there is a snow or weather emergency?

Within the 14-day period before the day of your event, there are no refunds. In the event of an emergency weather-related cancellation, we can reschedule your event for another day.

The Josiah Smith Tavern (JST) observes the snow-related schedule of the Weston schools. In general, if the Weston schools close or have a delay, the JST will also. If your rental is scheduled for the evening of a ‘snow event,’ we will collaborate with you to monitor the condition of the streets and open the building to host your event as scheduled or make other arrangements.
